BM&F was purposefully birthed by our founders Basil & Millicent Burchell to reintroduce the meaning of creativity and purpose, creativity makes us happy and purpose gives us a reason for living! We dearly believe in the transformative power of illustration and design and their ability to enhance home decor and impact the environment in a positive way. 
In recent years, a passion for gardening & welding was discovered, combined, and capitalized on to complement the business vision.

When you purchase and plant a flower or tree, in addition to beautifying your space you are contributing to the bigger picture of making the world a better & safer place for this and future generations, and that in itself is purpose.

It pays to find a purpose of planting at least one tree per month/year which is the bare minimum, based on the major impact deforestation is having on our home & planet.
